RITZ Pizza Mummies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 mozzarella cheese slices (0.7 oz. each)
  • 24 RITZ Crackers
  • 2 Tbsp. pizza sauce
  • 48 mini pepperoni slices

Instructions

  • Cut  cheese slices in half; reserve half the cheese pieces for later use.
  • Cut  each of the 12 remaining cheese pieces into 2 (1-1/2-inch) rounds; place on crackers.
  • Spoon  1/4 tsp. pizza sauce onto bottom half of each cheese round, then place 2 pepperoni pieces on top half of cheese round.
  • Cut  reserved cheese pieces into strips; place over sauce as shown in photo to resemble mummies.

Recipe Tips

VariationIf you don't have mini pepperoni slices, you can use 6 regular pepperoni slices to prepare this recipe instead. Use a piping tip with 1/4-inch opening to cut out 4 holes from each pepperoni slice to use for the eyes.

SubstitutePrepare using 50%-less-sodium pepperoni.
