NUTTER BUTTER Owls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 NUTTER BUTTER Cookies (peanut shape)
  • 8 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
  • 24 red candy coating wafers
  • 24 yellow miniature candy-coated chocolate pieces
  • 36 slivered almonds

Instructions

  • Cover  baking sheet with parchment. Dip cookies, 1 at a time, in melted chocolate, turning to completely coat each cookie. Gently shake off excess chocolate; place cookies on prepared baking sheet.
  • Place  2 candy coating wafers on each cookie as shown in photo. Dip backs of candy-coated chocolate pieces in remaining melted chocolate; place on wafers.
  • Add  nuts as shown in photo.

SubstituteSubstitute 12 pretzel sticks, each broken into 3 pieces, for the nuts.
