Meatballs are a must, so dress them up for New Year's with a coat of spiced hoisin, and show them off atop sesame-flavored broccoli slaw on crisp crackers.

Asian-Glazed Meatball "Sliders" Recipe

Ingredients

  • 24 frozen fully cooked bite-size meatballs (1/2 oz. each)
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups broccoli slaw
  • 1/4 cup Asian toasted sesame dressing
  • 24 TRISCUIT Crackers
  • 1 tsp. toasted sesame seed

Instructions

  • Heat  oven to 350°F.
  • Place  meatballs on foil-covered rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake  15 to 20 min. or until heated through (160°F). Meanwhile, mix hoisin sauce and crushed pepper until blended.
  • Brush  meatballs with hoisin sauce mixture; bake 3 to 5 min. or until sauce is heated through. Meanwhile, toss broccoli slaw with dressing.
  • Top  crackers with slaw mixture and meatballs. Sprinkle with sesame seed.

SubstitutePrepare using frozen fully cooked bite-size turkey meatballs.

Important NoteBaking times for meatballs vary by brand. If the meatballs are not done after the suggested 20-min. baking time, continue to bake the meatballs until they are heated through (160°F) before brushing with the hoisin sauce mixture and continuing as directed.
